Mary Matsvai

Mary is one of the more feisty members of our team – she brings lots of life to the Gogo Olive workshop.  She has a big heart, is a hard worker and she produces beautiful children – her sons and their beautiful smiles feature in lots of our photos!  Mary also suffers from what is commonly known as FOMO (fear of missing out!) – she doesn’t want to leave the workshop if there are still people there just in case she misses something! She has been known to call the ladies who are still at work to find out if there is anything happening.  I also suffer from FOMO so I totally understand Mary!

Dreams for the future

To make a better life for my family and enjoy living well together.  I also dream that one day I will be a landlord.

Favourite Things about Gogo Olive

We get paid on time and the encouragement I get from the other ladies.  It also makes me feel like I am worthy and I like to be recognised by other people as a part of Gogo Olive.

What do people not know about you?

I am too emotional!  And I have mercy for other people.
